What Cornerstone Presbyterian Church Believes

We are a Presbyterian church that believes in the faith once for all delivered to the saints. Our statement of faith is elaborated in more detail at the Covenant Presbyterian Church Denomination’s Standards.

Cornerstone Presbyterian Church used to be known as Foothills Christian Assembly. All the nations of the earth are as foothills compared to the Mountain of the Lord’s House, and as God’s plan unfolds with each new sunrise and sunset, we see the Lord Jesus Christ establishing His heavenly throne on Mount Zion as the mount over all the hill-nations, exalting Himself over every foothill, every ruler in every place. And, by His power and grace, as the Gospel of the Kingdom goes forth, the nations come to Him eagerly, seeking His righteous Ways, going after His ancient Paths.

At Cornerstone Presbyterian Church, the Lord Jesus Christ is our Savior and King. We love Him and seek to obey Him because we are so thankful for His death for us, His wondrous resurrection and His invincible reign. He alone is the Good Shepherd, and we hear His voice and follow Him.

Now it shall come to pass in the latter days that the mountain of the LORD’s house shall be established on the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and peoples shall flow to it. And many nations shall come and say,

“Come, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the house of the God of Jacob. He will teach us His ways, and we shall walk in His paths.” ~ Micah 4:1,2
